It's been an interesting several days. I received Aunt Mary's package, which included a souvenir shirt from her cruise (the shirt is from Monte Carlo), and my birthday/graduation/anniversary presents: a check for $200 (which went into my new BB&T account) and a Visa gift card for $500 dollars. Jesse and I treated ourselves to a day out. We ran some errands and saw the new Transformers movie. It was fun. We bought the first season of NCIS, the first Transformers movie, and The Incredibles. Sheets both pooped and peed in the house to express her opinion of our admittedly very long absence. She also ate one various parts of two of my shoes (from different pairs), as well as an assortment of other stuff she found in the living room, including a pack of gum.

Today we went grocery shopping and then hit Target for a vacuum and some other items. We came back, used the new Arm & Hammer Pet Odor carpet stuff all over the living room and hall and vacuumed. Between that and Febreez-ing the couch, the living room smells pretty good. We bought Sheets a new, large bed so she won't squish the puppies. We picked up all the dirty sheets and towels that the dogs were using as their nest and put the bed down with a towel in front of it. They seem to like it. The house no longer smells awful. Sheets still smells pretty bad, but we can afford to take her for a check-up now, so it's all right. We bought a bunch of new candles, too. I finished Mom's hat (I put a little yellow edging on it). Oh, we also ate at Panera. It was nice. We talked about dating and our relationship whenever we ran out of other topics.

On the agenda for tomorrow:
~ take Sheets to the vet
~ New phone for me! Either switching to Verizon or upgrading my Sprint phone.
~ Dog-proofing the living room (removing all item that Sheets might want to chew on).

Athos and Archie seem to be doing well. I never see either of them eat their food when I feed them, but they seem fine. Even with Sheets acting up (she ate 2 sticks of butter I had left on the kitchen counter to soften for cookie-making), it's been a good day today. It's nice to have the house clean.

Happy!
