This morning I went to the Japanese Tea Garden during it's free admission hour. The people who have taken over the tea shack (that's how I always thought of it) and the gift shop are doing an amazing job. I can't wait to go there and order stuff, and I want to buy the whole gift shop. It's really such an improvement I can't even begin to say.
So I wrote some poems while I was there, and I am going to post them in separate entries. But I just wanted it out there what was going on with them. The Tea Garden is much more crowded in the morning during their summer hours than their winter ones. It was hard to properly enjoy it. Maybe if I get there earlier on Weds. We'll see, right?
It's weird being home. I had a nice ride downtown on the N, though. It was nice and empty. Mixed feelings about the "Clipper Card" system. I wonder if Fast Passes from the old days will become valuable collectors items someday. Ha.

Oh, I had a nice morning at home. Sourdough toast, tea, web comics. Very pleasant.
